High School Diploma or equivalent and three years of accounting clerical experience. General knowledge of bookkeeping principals and accounting standards. Skill in reviewing financial documents and reconciling financial data. Ability to operate office equipment including personal computers and demonstrated ability to input data accurately and efficiently into financial software. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, and be able to provide excellent customer service in a very busy environment. Must be able to multi-task and have strong organization skills.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
